How to play Sumshift 2048
Every move slides all of the numbered tiles to one side of the board. When two matching tiles collide, they combine into one bigger tile. Two 2s create a 4, two 4s make an 8, and the pattern continues until you reach 2048. Each merge increases your score.
Keep at least one open lane
After each successful move, a new 2 or 4 appears in an empty space. When the board fills up and there are no neighboring matching tiles left, the game ends. Build large tiles deliberately instead of swiping randomly.
Three tips for reaching 2048
- Choose a favorite corner. Keeping your largest tile in one corner makes planning easier.
- Avoid random moves. Each unnecessary swipe can create another tile to manage.
- Plan your next two merges. Set up pairs before you commit to a direction.
